FYP 2…WEEK 9:PCB LAYOUT

Objective :To design pcb layout

When satisfied the circuit from the breadboard and transfer to the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). After cleaning, etching and drilling, soldering process can be started solder the electronic components one by one. Make sure all the components are soldered in proper side. Ensure the component value and polarity is correctly soldered. Those electronic components have polarity such as capacitor, diode, PIC, LM7805 and LED should be soldered in right polarity or it may cause the circuit board fail to work. PCB is designed for getting smaller circuit than use breadboard or strip board. However, PCB is often less expensive and more reliable than these alternatives, though they require more layout effort and higher initial cost. PCB is much cheaper and faster for high-volume production since production and soldering of PCB can be done by automated equipment.
