RFID
technology is become well-known these days as it is cost-saver for a long term
management besides it is green-way and safe for environment. RFID technology is
developing from time to time and there are so many researches are made in term
of power improving techniques and applications. Some of the technology already
had done very well and widely use for daily application such as industrial in
factory, shipping, airport and so on. However this project will be specified
into about indoor navigation for blind people. In this project RFID reader and
tag will be used as the input which ID tag number will be memorize using
microcontroller when the RFID tag interfaced to the RFID reader to know the
location. This report explained about the project background, literature
review, technical investigation and project specification. It also explained
method and technique that use for the conversion, application, cost, resources,
time management and any other possibilities that involve with ethical
engineering design the engineering test result is discussed and explained as to
represent the application of this project. A research has been made by
referring to the books, journals, internets and thesis. The investigation of indoor
navigation by RFID is done in lab as to find out the relevance of the project
before go to the further step.
